To be honest, this annotated bibliography was the easiest assignment. (Except for the APA formatting--I've always used MLA.) These are books, guides, podcasts, and blogs that I check in with regularly. For the assignment, I chose individual episodes or posts from the Educate podcast, the Hechinger Report, and Challenge Success, but these are places I return often. The first year of my practice was almost entirely spent reading and learning about college admissions. Now that I'm also writing and consulting, I still spend a large percentage of my working time just reading and getting familiar with this new corner of the education industry I've found myself in.
